Important Post Oak Orchestrated Concert Change Time

Due to forecast of inclement weather the concert time has been moved up to 5:00 p.m. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. The Tulsa Honors Baroque Orchestra opening act has been moved to Sunday, 5:30 p.m. opening for Chris Mann at OKWU, Bartlesville.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: YACHT ROCK ORCHESTRATED AT POST OAK LODGE

Based on recommendations from meteorologists and the latest weather indicators, OKM Music has made the decision to move today’s Yacht Rock Orchestrated concert to an earlier time for the safety and enjoyment of our guests, artists, volunteers, and staff.

The concert will now take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Recent weather forecasts indicate a greater likelihood of thunderstorms later in the evening. By moving the concert earlier, we are providing the best opportunity for guests to enjoy the performance while minimizing the potential impact of changing weather conditions.

Additionally, due to recent rainfall, portions of the grounds at Post Oak Lodge remain saturated. To provide a safer and more comfortable experience, the concert will be relocated to an asphalt area rather than the grassy lawn.

Due to moving the concert to the asphalt we have installed small tents scattered about the area to allow guests to have some shelter if rain showers occur. Guests are encouraged to bring umbrellas and rain ponchos in the event of a passing shower.

Because of the saturated ground conditions, some of our planned food vendors may be unable to access the venue or operate in their originally planned locations. As a result, food service options may be more limited than originally anticipated. We appreciate your understanding as we work with our vendors to provide as many food and beverage options as possible under the circumstances.

Parking will now be available on the driveway surrounding the property and we will have golf cart shuttles available to and from your vehicle to the site.

These decisions have been made with one goal in mind: providing the safest and most enjoyable experience possible for our patrons, artists, volunteers, and staff.  Our artists have come from all over and have spent months preparing for this concert.  We can’t wait for everyone to hear the incredible music. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we respond to changing weather conditions and hope the rain will just add a fun vibe to the Yacht Rock Orchestrated experience.

We look forward to welcoming everyone for an outstanding performance of music featuring Grady Nichols, Chris Rodriguez, David Hamilton, Alaska Rayne, Andy Chrisman, and the Tulsa Honors Baroque Orchestra.

Thank you for supporting OKM Music. We look forward to seeing you at Post Oak Lodge.
