Brendan Speltz

Brendan Speltz, Violin

NYC-based violinist Brendan Speltz, known for his work with the Escher String Quartet, has toured globally with ensembles like Shuffle Concert and the Manhattan Chamber Players. Founder of FeltInFour Productions, he’s produced acclaimed concerts across NYC, praised by The New Yorker. Notably, he co-created a cross-disciplinary presentation of Steve Reich’s Different Trains with aerial dance troupe ABCirque, sponsored by Meyer Sound Labs. In NYC, he’s performed with various groups including the New York New Music Ensemble and Mark Morris Dance Group. Brendan holds degrees from USC and the Manhattan School of Music.

Luke Fleming

Luke Fleming, Viola

Acclaimed violist, Luke Fleming, praised for his “glowing refinement” by The Philadelphia Inquirer and hailed for “confident and expressive” performances by The Strad. Founding Artistic Director of the Manhattan Chamber Players and Crescent City Chamber Music Festival, he’s also Artistic Program Director of Chamber Music Monterey Bay. Fleming holds degrees from Juilliard, the Royal Academy of Music, and LSU, and is Adjunct Professor of Viola at the University of New Orleans. Represented by Arts Management Group, he’s performed worldwide and conducted masterclasses internationally.

Abigail Monroe

Abigail Monroe, Cello

A versatile cellist, Abigail Monroe is celebrated as a soloist, chamber musician, and ensemble player across the US. Currently principal cellist with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, she also holds positions with orchestras like the West Michigan Symphony and Orchestra Iowa. Abigail frequently performs with various ensembles including Ensemble for These Times and collaborates with groups like the Manhattan Chamber Players. Notable highlights include premieres of contemporary works and concerto performances with orchestras such as the Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra. She’s a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

Brendan Speltz

Brook Speltz, Cello

Los Angeles native, cellist of the Escher String Quartet and artist of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Brook Speltz is praised for his “fluid virtuosity” and “soulful melodies.” Winner of the Ima Hogg Competition, he’s performed as a soloist with orchestras like the Houston Symphony and is a regular at IMS Prussia Cove and Musicians from Marlboro. Invited by luminaries like Itzhak Perlman and Richard Goode for chamber music collaborations, he’s nominated for the Warner Music Prize. Speltz is also known for touring with the cello rock band Break of Reality, advocating for music education. Trained at Curtis Institute of Music and Juilliard, he plays a 1756 J.C. Gigli.
