Megan Barth Argo

Megan Barth Argo, Piano

Megan Barth Argo, an Opera Répétiteur and Vocal Coach at Oklahoma State University’s Michael and Anne Greenwood School of Music, is a rising collaborative artist with a rich background performing and studying in the United States and Barcelona, Spain. She has participated in prestigious festivals and worked with renowned artists like Roger Vignoles, Warren Jones, and Jake Heggie. Argo is an accomplished music director, having directed over 50 opera and music theater productions for various companies. She holds MM degrees in Vocal Coaching and Piano Performance from Oklahoma City University and Kent State University, respectively, and a BA in Piano Performance from Ashland University. She is actively involved in professional organizations and co-founded Songs for a New Week, a resource page for students and performers.

Babette Belter

Babette Belter, Clarinet

Babette Belter is a renowned clarinetist with a vibrant career spanning solo, chamber, and orchestral performances across continents including Asia, Europe, and the Americas. With over two decades as principal clarinet with the Signature Symphony, she’s showcased her artistry in notable works like the Weber Concertino and Copland Concerto. Belter, a recipient of the Southwestern Bell Foundation Fellowship, has conducted research in Hungary and presented her findings internationally. She’s a dedicated educator, serving as Professor of Clarinet at Oklahoma State University, and has led outreach programs globally. Recognized for her teaching excellence, she’s received prestigious awards like the Wise-Diggs-Berry Award for Outstanding Teaching. Belter is also acclaimed for her Backun Lumière clarinet performances as a Backun Global Artist.

Christian Bester

Christian Bester, Baritone

Hailed by the Los Angeles Times as “Impressive,” South African lyric baritone Christian Bester has garnered acclaim worldwide. From his debut as Schaunard in La Bohème with Pro Musica Theater in South Africa to his European debut in Polin Blut for the Americke Jaro Festival, Bester has captivated audiences with roles spanning opera, operetta, and oratorio. His repertoire includes notable roles like DonGiovanni, Count Almaviva, and Escamillo, among others. Bester has also collaborated with esteemed orchestras such as the Fort Worth Symphony and Dallas Symphony Orchestra League. As a sought-after performer and clinician, he has presented and performed across the globe. Currently, Dr. Bester serves as Assistant Professor of Voice at Oklahoma State University.

April Golliver-Mohiuddin

April Golliver-Mohiuddin, Mezzo-Soprano

April Golliver-Mohiuddin, Mezzo-soprano and Professor of Voice at Oklahoma State University, holds degrees from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and Oklahoma City University. She’s received numerous awards for her teaching, including the 2019 OSU Award of Excellence for Academic Advisement. Golliver-Mohiuddin’s performances span renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall and esteemed opera companies including Tulsa Opera and Des Moines Metro Opera. She’s also showcased her talent in a variety of concert works, from Mozart’s Requiem to Brahms’ Alto Rhapsody. Her international engagements include performances in the Czech Republic and appearances at festivals like Aspen Music Festival and Spoleto Vocal Arts Symposium.

Steve Sanders

Steve Sanders, Tenor

Tenor Steven Sanders, praised by Opera News as “dynamic” and The New York Times as “impressive,” boasts a distinguished career with acclaimed performances at renowned opera companies including New York City Opera, Wolf Trap Opera, and Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. Known for excelling in both mainstream and lesser-performed roles, Sanders has graced the stage as Chairman Mao in Nixon in China and Galileo in Galileo Galilei. His recording in John Musto’s Volpone earned a Grammy nomination for “Best Opera Recording of 2009.” As a concert artist, he’s showcased his talents in major works like Orff’s Carmina Burana and Mozart’s Requiem at esteemed venues such as Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center. A native of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, Sanders holds degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance, earning accolades like the 2004 Distinguished Young Alumni Award from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. He furthered his studies with a Master’s Degree from Oklahoma City University and a Certificate of Performance from Boston University.
