What is OKM Music’s Oktoberfest?
OKM Music’s Oktoberfest is an annual family-friendly celebration held in early October, blending traditional German Oktoberfest festivities with a diverse lineup of musical performances. This community-oriented celebration showcases Bartlesville’s cultural spirit and is a highlight on the local calendar each year. The event offers patrons and guests an authentic Bavarian experience, complete with traditional German cuisine like bratwurst and pretzels, as well as a variety of locally brewed beer. Local vendors such as the Sugar Plum Shoppe, contribute to the festive atmosphere, while activities such as the beer stein competition, corn hole, glow in the dark putt putt, axe throwing, root beer pong, and more, enhance the event’s entertainment value.
Kids can join in on the fun too! At OKM Music’s Oktoberfest, children enjoy storytelling sessions and puppet shows, as well as crafts such as Lebkuchen cookie icing and pumpkin painting! Plus, OKM Music’s Oktoberfest is filled with fun activities, such as a root beer garden, root beer floats, and filling a Schultüte bags! Each Schultüte bag is filled with stickers, pencils, erasers, candy, and more small toys, adding to the festive spirit.
Parking for the event is super easy! Two large lots are located between Dewey Ave. and Osage Ave., and between 4th and 5th Streets. The smaller lot is designated for handicap parking. Street parking is also available.
