The Manhattan Chamber Players is a chamber music collective of New York-based musicians who share the common aim of performing the greatest works in the chamber repertoire at the highest level.

Formed by Founding Artistic Director Luke Fleming, MCP is comprised of an impressive roster of musicians who all come from the tradition of great music-making at the Marlboro Music Festival, Steans Institute at Ravinia, Music@Menlo, Yellow Barn and Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festivals and Perlman Music Program, and are former students of the Curtis Institute, Juilliard School, Colburn School, New England Conservatory, and Yale School of Music

More on Jecelle Dobson

Jecelle Dobson, a talented 19-year-old musician from Bartlesville, Oklahoma, is not just a vocalist, but also a pianist and accomplished violinist. Jecelle had always enjoyed singing, however, her musical journey began in her early years, when she joined her elementary school’s orchestra as a violinist. Throughout her years in Choir and Orchestra, Jecelle participated in many competitions and festivals, which includes performing with the Oklahoma Music Educators Association (OkMEA) All-State chorus, and the Northen Oklahoma String Teachers Association (OSTA) Honor Orchestra as concertmaster. Outside of the classroom, Jecelle performed in many local venues, ranging from restaurants to concerts and festivals, establishing herself as a local musical sensation.

One of the recently significant milestones in Jecelle’s career came in June of 2023, at the 39th OKM Music Festival, when she had the remarkable opportunity to open for country music legend: Lee Greenwood. She currently attends Oklahoma State University, where she is a member of both the OSU Symphony Orchestra and Concert Chorale.

Jecelle is currently studying Music Industry at the Oklahoma State University Greenwood School of Music, under the instruction of Dr. Christian Bester, Voice, and Professor Ashley Cooper, Violin.

Jenny Lin, a Steinway Artist, has made a name for herself on the world stage thanks to her “remarkable technical command” and “gift for melodic flow” (New York Times). She was born in Taiwan, raised in Austria, and moved to New York, where she resides. At the age of four, she began playing piano at her grandmother’s house. Educated in Europe and the US, she has built an international reputation distinguished by inventive collaborations with a breadth of artists and has performed widely with renowned orchestras and symphonies at the world’s most notable concert halls.

Her discography numbers more than 50 recordings, ranging from the classic piano canon to modern milestones to Broadway songs. Fluent in English, German, Mandarin, and French, Lin holds a bachelor’s degree in German Literature from The Johns Hopkins University and studied music at the Hochschule für Musik, and at the Peabody Conservatory.

Grammy-nominated pianist Adam Tendler is a recipient of the Lincoln Center Award for Emerging Artists, the Yvar Mikhashoff Prize, and “currently the hottest pianist on the American contemporary classical scene” (Minneapolis Star Tribune) and a “remarkable and insightful musician” (LA Times). A pioneer of DIY culture in classical music, at 23 Tendler performed solo recitals in all fifty states as part of a self-made tour called America 88×50, the subject of his memoir, 88×50. He has commissioned major works from Christian Wolff and Devonté Hynes alike, and has appeared as soloist with the London Symphony Orchestra, LA Philharmonic, and on the main-stages of Carnegie Hall, the Barbican Centre, and BAM.

His recordings include Wild Up’s latest, Grammy-nominated album of works by Julius Eastman, as well as solo albums of music by Robert Palmer and Franz Liszt.  He recently premiered 16 works commissioned using the entire inheritance left to him by his father, including works by Laurie Anderson, Nico Muhly and Missy Mazzoli as part of a project called Inheritances, a New York Times Critic Pick, described by the Times as “not only a display of contemporary compositional force, but also a true show…emotionally involving…with a sense of true dramatic stakes.” Inheritances will appear on a forthcoming album on the New Amsterdam label. Adam Tendler is currently Artist in Residence at Green-wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York, and serves on the piano faculty of NYU.

The Tulsa Honors Baroque Orchestra is celebrating its 45th season.  TULSA HONORS ORCHESTRA (THO) is a youth string orchestra and is known for providing excellent string instruction to youth string players, as well as providing numerous fantastic opportunities for orchestra performances.   THO was founded by Jody Naifeh, Mother of  Karen Naifeh Harmon, Violinist & Composer,  the Tulsa Honors Orchestra Executive Director.  Tulsa Honors Baroque directors are Karen Naifeh Harmon and Terry Pollak.

The Escher String Quartet has received acclaim for its profound musical insight and rare tonal beauty. A former BBC New Generation Artist and recipient of the Avery Fisher Career Grant, the quartet has performed at the BBC Proms at Cadogan Hall and is a regular guest at Wigmore Hall. In its home town of New York, the ensemble serves as season artists of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. 

The Escher Quartet has made a distinctive impression throughout Europe, with recent debuts including the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Berlin Konzerthaus, London’s Kings Place, Slovenian Philharmonic Hall, Les Grands Interprètes Geneva, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, and Auditorium du Louvre. The group has appeared at festivals such as the Heidelberg Spring Festival, Budapest’s Franz Liszt Academy, Dublin’s Great Music in Irish Houses, the Risør Chamber Music Festival in Norway, the Hong Kong International Chamber Music Festival, and the Perth International Arts Festival in Australia.

Tulsa Quartet musicians, Hayley Peterson, Chelsea Peterson, Paula Surface and Pete Peterson have performed with Tulsa Symphony Orchestra, Tulsa Ballet, Tulsa Opera, the 99th Street Quartet, Blue Ridge Symphony, NC-Asheville Chamber Orchestra, and the Gettysburg Symphony.
