2024 Christkindl Market Kids Activities

Join us at OKM Music’s Christkindl Market for a magical holiday experience centered around kids’ activities! This enchanting Christmas market, inspired by the historic Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremberg, brings the charm of a festive holiday village right to our community. Families can stroll through beautifully adorned stalls featuring high-quality gifts, delicious foods like bratwurst and pretzels, and delightful seasonal decorations. The warm holiday atmosphere invites everyone to celebrate the season together.

Children will have a blast over two exciting days filled with fun activities! In addition to the beloved StoryTimes, kids can enjoy painting wooden snowmen and trees, playing Christmas tree bowling, decorating wooden ornaments, icing Lebkuchen cookies, and singing along with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
With performances by the Bartlesville High School Orchestra, the Jazz Choir, and more, this event promises to create joyful memories for children and families alike!

St. Martin’s Lantern Parade

St. Martin is famous for the story of giving half of his coat to a beggar who was freezing in the cold. His kindness and compassion are symbolic of lighting the hearts of all to become kind. The St. Martin parades is a celebration of St. Martin’s kindness. Whimsical and fun, the parades are the highlight of the Market and act to celebrate the kind deeds of children.

The parade begins on November 9th at 6:30pm. Every child will make a lantern, participate in the parade and will be given a Weckmänn sweet bread to take home.
